Overview
Ultimate Car Desktop for Windows is software that logs and tracks vehicle (car, truck, motorcycle, etc.) repair, fuel and maintenance (oil change, tune-up, brakes, etc.) events that runs on Windows operating systems such as Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000 and Windows XP (Home and Professional). It records fuel, oil changes, tire repairs, maintenance events and more for an unlimited number of vehicles. Fuel economy is available at the click of a mouse. Default suppliers for frequently used types allows quick entry. Last mileage entered is remembered for quick entry for the next time. Change viewing filter to only see items interested in, filter and report on date range and item types. The Desktop has all features of the PDA version plus it has reporting capabilities and graphing of fuel economy and vehicle costs.
This can synchronize with a Pocket PC PDA using Ultimate Car for Pocket PC software. It is not necessary to have a PDA version of the software for the Desktop to work, this product can operate as a standalone application.
It has a trial period and requires a registration code to use past the trial period.

Features included in Desktop but not in PDA version:
- More information in a tabular format which makes it easier to locate specific information. PDA version is limited by screen size.
- Graphs for fuel economy and maintenance costs in addition to on-screen fuel economy format of PDA version.
- Shows reminders in the status bar when maintenance items are due or overdue. PDA version shows this information in a separate dialog.
- Print reports and also export those reports into Word, RTF, PDF or Excel formats (the PDA version
does not support reporting or exporting).

Requirements
Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000 or Windows XP operating system. At least 45M of hard disk space is required for installation files. Best if viewed in at least 800x600 screen resolution. No other memory requirements. The Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 is required for operation.
