BUGS FIXED ========== The conversion utility now works correctly for non-PDA installations. If you installed v3.2.0.0 previously and have a non-PDA installation (you have no Palm PDAs or Pocket PC PDAs to synchronize with) and get errors when trying to open a Tires item type you will need to MANUALLY run ConvertDB-2.exe after this installation to correct the problem. Values were not being read from and saved to the registry properly and caused initial startup problems in some scenarios. Graphs were sharing the "Show Values" property when being saved in the registry. The service type Tire(s) has been broken up into two types: Tire(s) and Tire Rotation. Any existing Tire(s) items having Tire Rotations will be automatically converted to the new type. Of the new service types the following are considered an "interval type" like Oil Change, Brakes, Maintenance and Tune-Up: Tire Rotation, Wax/Detail, Trans.Service, Brake Flush, Coolant Flush, Timing Belt, Belts/Hoses. Added "legend" for average value line on cost and fuel economy graphs. BUGS FIXED ========== Items deleted on the Desktop now synchronize properly with the Palm PDA. Prior to this release items deleted on the Desktop would reappear after a HotSync operation. If they were deleted on the PDA everything was fine and would be properly removed from the Desktop items during a HotSync. NEW FEATURES ============ There is a new graph to complement the Fuel Economy graph called Cost. It can consolidate totals by month or itemize each entry, like the Fuel Economy graph. It is very flexible and can be used to quickly report such things as, how much did fuel cost me last month or the month before, or how much have oil changes cost me over the past year, etc. The vehicle license plate is now editable. Service intervals can be modified now. The Oil Change, Maintenance, Tune-Up and Brakes all have miles/months criteria so the next reminder may be scheduled. These values may now be changed so that each vehicle may have a different schedule. The graph(s) now have a way to ignore values that fall outside a specified range. This comes in handy when fuel entries are not entered and the graph "spikes". This new feature allows those spikes to be ignored and a more accurate average can be displayed. The Fuel Economy information may now be printed as a report. Previously only a WYSIWYG "report" could be printed out from the form. When entering a new detail item, the last three digits of the mileage are now selected like the Palm version. This makes entry of items even faster because no digits need to be removed first before entering the new mileage. BUGS FIXED ========== Anytime the last oil grade item in the list was selected it would not appear on the vehicle detail form, the previously entered item would remain. It sports an updated look and includes a fuel economy graph and information about upcoming and overdue service items in the status bar. This version also works with data from Pocket PC PDAs (there is currently no conduit or ActiveSync provider available). The reporting engine is all different but the reports are still the same. The Windows Desktop is now considered a separate product with separate registration codes to enter. A time trial is offered for free to try it out.
